We are currently seeking a Manager of Compliance and Quality Assurance to support Innivec's continued vision of providing top-notch education and career services to our students.
Key Responsibilities:
This role encompasses a variety of duties, including but not limited to the following:
COMPLIANCE & FINANCIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Be fully responsible for all compliance requirements within Innivec by working collaboratively with the senior management
- Conduct strategic monitoring of trends and issues in the field of college education in Vancouver, Toronto and international education.
- Represent Innivec at the association and accreditation organizations by actively participating in conferences, round tables. And communications with various parties.
- Ensure all compliance reports are completed by deadlines.
- Receive and respond to all correspondence from the Ministry.
- Ensure compliance with federal and provincial definitions related to international students in terms of fulltime studies. In collaboration with the program development team, ensure that these elements are correctly addressed in all curricular documentation.
- Regularly review publicly published information about the colleges to ensure that it is compliant.
- Actively lead campus compliance audits
- Participate in the preparation of financial documents with the corporate controller for compliance reporting.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- A postsecondary qualification in a relevant field.
- Demonstrated experience in the Canadian Private Education sector
- Thorough understanding of the compliance requirements by PTIB and MCU
- Ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously
- Passionate, flexible and a selfstarter
Job Type:
Part-time
Pay:
$50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 20 per week
