- Process sales and weborders in an efficient manner, modelling accuracy
- Support the picking andfulfillment of web and special orders
- Actively engagecustomers by offering support, suggesting items for purchase, answeringquestions, and resolving concerns in a friendly manner.
- Support the process ofreceiving, counting, tagging, and organizing inventory and customer orders
- Prepare merchandise forsale and assist in the promotion of products and specials
- Replenish floor stockand keep team informed of product sell-through observations
- When helping at thesatellite campuses liaise with Buyers at Main campus to ensure students andstaff needs are met
- Enact loss-preventionstrategies in order to support a secure shopping environment
- Ability to work independently when needed
- Detail orientated and anagile learner with the ability to retain product knowledge and confidentlyassist customers
- Excellent skills incustomer service, communication, and teamwork
- The ability to learn andfollow established departmental guidelines and procedures
- Flexibility withscheduling, including the ability to work increased hours during peak periodsand some evening and weekend shifts
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
- Must be able to lift up to50 lbs. (30lbs often)
- Acurrent drivers license would be an asset and easy access to a vehicle as ourtwo satellite campuses are difficult to get to on public transit.
- Must have previousexperience in a retail or customer service environment where focus was onproviding an excellent customer experience
- Point of Sale experienceis necessary to be successful in the role
- Completion of grade 12 anda combination of experience and education related to the role

Weare more than just a bookstore, and not only will you serve those who walk inour doors, you will provide digital course material support and assist infulfilling web and special orders. Our web order support includes processingonline orders as well as the selling of digital resources, and trouble shootingstudent issues. Attention to detail is a must in this role and accuratelyprocessing transactions is of fundamental importance.
