Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Propane Area Manager on a permanent basis for our propane team in Edmonton, AB.

What you'll do:

Direct the operations, safety, and sales of our propane business in Northern Alberta through effective communication on branch goals and proper tracking.
Remain wellversed in propane market trends and actively search for sustainable growth opportunities in an increasingly competitive market.
Build strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and the community to foster ongoing success, service, and a positive image.
Ensure the region is adhering to all industry regulations and safety requirements.
Employ financial and business acumen through creating and maintaining the region budget and analyzing region results on a monthly basis.
Provide positive and engaging leadership to the branch and support HR activities such as training, performance management, recruitment, etc.

Who you'll work with:

The Team:

You will have the Service Department Supervisor reporting into you and will oversee their leadership of the Propane Service Technicians and Drivers in the region.

This team strives to cultivate a culture of continuous improvement, employee engagement, and exceptional service.

The Customers:
You will demonstrate customer focus while supporting the Northern Alberta region's rural, commercial, and residential propane customers.

Who you are:

You are looking for a career in management and:

Have 8+ years of progressively responsible experience in the Energy Service Industry. Experience in management/supervisory roles is required and experience in the propane industry is preferred.
Ideally, have some form of postsecondary education (e.g., certificate, diploma, or degree).
Are skilled in communication, conflict management, and continuous improvement.
