Overall Responsibilities:

- Actively pursue key accounts and new prospects for Marmon's Industrial Cooling Towers and Industrial Aftermarket Water Treatment equipment products and services.
- Market and sell new towers, reconstruction jobs, repairs, and industrial water treatment equipment parts and services.
- Manage individual sales goals and sales activity to meet and exceed sales & gross margins in assigned territory.
- Develop and manage the territory's sales process (e.g. prospect, estimation & proposal, followup, close sale, order management, etc.)
- Complete and support proposal development, estimations, and RFI/RFQs for clients and EPC's.
- Support Project Management responsibilities.
- Develop and cultivate customer relationships by meeting with customers, conducting presentations, and discussing existing & new projects.
- Participates in trade shows and other industry forums.
- Negotiates contracts including pricing and Terms & Conditions with customers.
- Utilize CRM system to track sales and customer activity.
- Respond to functional and technical requirements of new projects, requests for proposals, technical service issues, and other customer centric inquires.
- Remote position based in Eastern Canada travel to customer sites required across Eastern Canada provinces (including Ontario, and the Maritimes)
Qualifications, Skills, Competencies:
- 5+ years of experience with Field Sales & Relationship Management
- Experience in a similar industry preferred or related heavy industrial and construction sector experience required.
- Exceptional Communication skills
- Bilingual in French considered an asset.
- Detail oriented with strong critical thinking and prioritization skills Mechanically inclined, with ability to understand technical details/drawings
- Experience with ERP systems, CRM tools and Microsoft Office
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% travel in a calendar year.
