    Residential Support Worker - (Grid 21)

    Position Status: Part Time - Saturday & Sunday 1600hr to 0000 hr.

    Reports to: Ken Steinke, Senior Manager

    Compensation: $27.92 – $29.60 per hour

    Job Summary

    The Residential Support Worker at Phoenix Society plays a vital role in assisting participants with community reintegration and aiding residents transitioning out of Federal Correctional Institutions. Responsibilities include client supervision, risk assessment, client support, and fostering community partnerships.

    Responsibilities:
    • Support clients in adhering to community guidelines and reintegration plans.
    • Maintain accurate documentation and support client life skills and goals.
    • Handle reporting/documentation for various situations such as breach of conditions and emergency medical cases.

    Qualifications

    • Post-secondary diploma in relevant field or equivalent experience.
    • 1 to 3 years of experience working with marginalized populations.
    • Skills in offender behavior assessment, relationship building, and crisis intervention.
    • Strong communication skills and cultural competence.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management.
    • Ability to operate office equipment and maintain integrity and dependability.
    • Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills with a focus on empowering residents.
