Nature & Scope:


  • Lead high quality, safe and stimulating recreation and education programs for youth
  • Assist with continuous development of programming
  • Research and implement a variety of learning tools
  • Provide educational and recreational material that is current and appropriate
  • Build and preserve positive relationships with community partners
  • Maintain program equipment and monitor use of equipment and supplies
  • Uphold the philosophy and values of the YMCA of Eastern Ontario and strive to improve and sustain services at the highest level of quality

Qualifications:


  • Criminal Reference Check (CPIC) including Vulnerable Sector Check completed not more than 120 days prior to interview, with results acceptable to the YMCA of Eastern Ontario
  • Current Standard First Aid and CPR level "C"
  • At least one (1) year of experience planning and delivering youth programming
  • A high level of maturity and responsibility
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
