Here's what you will do:


  • Responsible for assigned sales targets supporting the team's overall objectives.
  • Drive sales results by developing business cases, creating compelling sales presentations, and positioning as a valued partner in installing and servicing low carbon technologies.
  • Establishing and forming relationships with customers, builders, and developers at all levels in their organizations to find opportunities, promote Enbridge low carbon solutions, resulting in the installation of product offerings.
  • Develop, update, and implement annual sales plans for assigned segments and customers.
  • Provide accurate and timely market outlooks and forecasts through the utilization of CRM system by updating sales opportunities as they develop and progress through to competition.
  • Support the low carbon team by providing market intelligence, industry and customer trends, purchasing behaviors and other relevant information to help inform product positioning and go to market strategies.
  • Represent at external events such as conferences, symposiums, and trade shows.
  • Work with external customers, trade allies and at industry events to promote low carbon solutions with the goal of building sales opportunities.
  • Engage with key partners to generate a wide variety of low carbon sales opportunities including nongovernment organization, technology manufacturers and product distributors.
  • Support the marketing team in the development of MARCOM strategies and literature to promote low carbon product offerings.

Who you are:


  • A Bachelor's degree (preferably in Business, Marketing, or Engineering) and 7+ years of directly related experience in B2B Sales, Customer Strategy and marketing strategy.
  • Strong understanding of the new construction markets.
  • Customer and result focused.
  • Strong ability to be Innovative, strategic, and initiate change.
  • Work Independently, highly organized and ability to lead multiple priorities.
  • Negotiation experience with external parties.
  • Excellent interpersonal, and strong communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Strong team skills for working with various functional areas, external vendors, and various support areas.
MBA, membership in P.Eng of Ontario or similar organization will be preferred.


Working Conditions:


  • Travelling including overnight, mainly within Ontario is required. A valid Ontario G class driver's license and maintenance of a responsible driving record is required.
  • Regular visits to customer facilities and job sites to assess energy efficiency opportunities on weekly basis.

Salary:
$110,000.00 per year

Experience:

- sales: 5 years (preferred)

  • Oil and Gas industry: 5 years (preferred)
