Description

We are looking to fill a permanent position of
Order Picker at our Toronto location of Mibro, a division of Richelieu Hardware Ltd.

As an Order Picker, your main tasks will be to:

Accurate and timely picking of customer orders in accordance with Performance Standards (250 lines/day minimum)
Replenish pick locations with product from production, overstock or inbound shipment
Assist in wrapping and loading pallets
Assist in loading and unloading trucks
Cycle counting as required
Shipping/Receiving Duties as required
Operate all designated equipment in a safe and approved manner (includes inspecting equipment prior to use if required to ensure it is in a safe working condition)
Perform job duties in accordance with all health and safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe and clean work environment
Provide assistance in other areas from time to time as requested

Computer

Job Qualifications:

Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in warehouse environment
Able and willing to operate to full height capacity of warehouse (25 feet)
Able to communicate effectively in English both orally and written
Licensed and experienced on designated equipment (Order picker/Cherry Picker) where required (safe and comfortable usage of equipment).
Experience with Warehouse Management System (WMS), AS400 preferred
Able to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis; able to stand for extended periods; able to perform some manual reaching and stretching
Able to work flexible hours and overtime
Able to work both independently and cooperatively in a team environment where flexibility, cooperation and meeting customer expectations are priorities
