Position Description:


The Speech Language Pathologist assesses and treats resonance, speech and language disorders of children ages You will be part of a multidisciplinary team and will communicate and review findings with relevant disciplines.


Here's What You'll Get To Do

  • Assess and consult with children who have neurogenic speech, voice or language difficulties following surgery, epilepsy, stoke or trauma
  • Responsible for verbal and written reporting
  • Work with interdisciplinary team and take part in family meetings, rounds and education
  • Student and Support Personnel Supervision
  • Facilitate referrals to community providers

Here's What You'll Need

  • Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology
  • Registration with the College of Audiologists and Speech Language Pathologists of Ontario
  • Previous experience in paediatric speech language pathology strongly preferred
  • Excellent skills in the areas of verbal and written communication, problemsolving, time management and evidencebased clinical practice
  • A commitment to understanding and aiding in the pursuit of equity, diversity & inclusion
  • Sensitivity to and understanding of issues related to linguistic and cultural diversity

Employment Type:
