We have been a family owned and operated Hyundai dealer for 20 years and operate a newly renovated dealership in Burlington, one of Canada's best places to live, work, play and raise a family.


We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a positive attitude and a willingness to work in a fast-paced team-based environment.

This position is an integral role at Burlington Hyundai and is responsible for providing our customers with an expectational experience while ensuring all their needs are being met.

This is a managerial position leading a team of sales professionals retailing some of the hottest products in the retail automotive market.

Hyundai is now the second largest volume import franchise in Canada showing consistent gains in sales featuring stylish ICE, Hybrid and full EV product offerings.


Our Sales Manager needs to be a professional with great customer interaction skills and a high sense of integrity who is volume and CSI driven and can also provide leadership and training skills to the team.

Will prefer having experience and knowledge of how to retail pre-owned products in this sales environment.

Responsibilities:


  • Calling and following up on unsold traffic.
  • Finding potential improvement opportunities in sales process.
  • Tracking and monitoring our leads and ensuring effective lead management.
  • Daily meet with Sales Staff to review performance and plan of action.
  • Mentor sales staff and conduct sales meetings as required.
  • Provide ongoing training for Sales Staff and ensure that they are following an established protocol to obtain optimum results.
  • Follow all dealership processes and procedures to ensure an excellent Customer Satisfaction Index rating on sales, delivery and follow up.
  • Obtain and analyze customer feedback to ensure high service levels are maintained.
  • Recruit, select and train sales staff for growth and advancement opportunities.
  • Demonstrate dedication and support of Company initiatives, goals and policies to staff and peers.
  • Display strong leadership qualities that show commitment to a nopressure, high integrity sales approach with each customer.
  • Generate ideas to exceed sales goals and demonstrate best revenue
- generating practices to the team and organization.

  • Serve as a liaison between customers and all departments including finance, service and parts.
  • Be enthusiastic and have strong communication with staff, customers, coworkers and management.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/University degree/College diploma.
  • OMVIC Certified.
  • 15 years automotive dealership management experience.
  • Very strong understanding of the prospecting, sales and automotive service processes.
  • Solid understanding of automotive terminology.
  • Very strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Competitive and goal driven.
  • Proven problemsolving expertise.
  • Excellent organization and multitasking abilities.
  • Good visual acuity and demonstrated observational skills.
  • Knowledge of various software
  • Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CRM, Dealer Management Systems (DMS) programs an asset
  • Valid driver's license with a good driver's abstract
