Work Arrangements:

We are currently working remotely, and we will be moving to a hybrid model when our office renovation is complete (approximately November 2023), coming into the office a minimum of 2 days per week, every other week on designated days.


The Opportunity:

We're looking for a bilingual myFlex Benefits Specialist to provide excellent customer service to both external customers and internal partners.

You'll work as part of our centralized team to set-up new business, prepare customized educational material and handle all customer, client and internal partner inquiries.

What you will do:


  • Provide proactive, high touch service to Plan Administrators at initial enrollment while also functioning as the main service contact for any subsequent service needs, including resolution of escalated issues
  • Review new issue materials received from a new customer to ensure completeness
  • Set up new business and create plan documents, including contracts and booklets
  • Act as a liaison within head office to manage the end to end processes in the setup and ongoing administration of myFlex groups
  • Prepare customized plan member educational material based on the flex plan options that will be available for each group
  • Provide backup to Group Benefits Administration as needed in the administration of regular groups

What you will bring:


  • Excellent communication skills, including effective listening and the ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to work collaboratively with peers, Small Group Marketing Managers, and other head office operational teams as part of a centralized service model
  • Excellent analytical and creative problem solving abilities, utilizing research skills
  • Ability to handle high volume of work within a fast paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills, multitasking abilities and prioritization skills
  • Aptitude for service
  • Comprehensive understanding of group insurance and the ability to learn new processes
  • Postsecondary education or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Bilingual skills (French/English) are preferred
