Minimum Requirements:


  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree with a focus in marketing

Competencies:


  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Quality driven, detail oriented, ability to multitask and selfmotivated
  • Strong organizational skills, including prioritization and time management
  • Excellent research skills, advanced skills in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • Ability to summarize, interpret, and translate information for reporting
  • Ability to work as a team member, work well unsupervised and with mínimal direct supervision
  • Able to work in a fastpaced environment and passionate to deliver results
  • Good knowledge of the Adobe Creative suite (i.e Photoshop, Illustrator, In-Design)
  • Strong command of the English language
  • Experience in content writing and copywriting is considered an asset.
  • Bilingual (English and French) preferred but not mandatory

Responsibilities:

The following responsibilities may include some or all of the following or any other tasks assigned directly or indirectly by VP, Supply Chain and Marketing

  • Conduct market research on projects, industry trends, and competitors
  • Assist in the development and execution of marketing content (i.e. creative briefs, asset creation, photography and video production, media, etc.)
  • Complete customer and prospect research and compile related reports
  • Analyze and forecast trends and pricing and provide insights to management
  • Prepare reports, presentations and spreadsheets
  • Sales and marketing strategy development and implementation
  • Design and produce printed & digital literature
  • Manage various social media platform accounts by creating and designing content
  • Create and distribute monthly Actlabs newsletter
  • Respond to inquiries through social media
  • Support the Marketing and Business Development team
  • Ensure that workplace health and safety requirements are met

Salary:
$21.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
