WE ARE EXPANDING, 2023 came with many great challenges for CDS, we are acquiring new clinics and WE ARE HIRING a
Regional Operations Manager to join our team in Edmonton.


You will be leading several dental practices to enhance our employees and our patient experience, this leadership role requires honesty, passion for innovation, the ability to collaborate and focus on talent management.

  • Someone willing to work alongside the team to promote alignment in helping our patients get healthy, and stay healthy, by providing the highest quality clinical experience to every patient, through improved treatment planning within the practice and clinical team.

  • A team player ready to partner with our legal team and human resources to ensure that the clinics are in full compliance with all the provincial regulatory standards.
  • Last but not least, we want a fast learner, a critical thinker capable of turning data into knowledge with experience managing dental KPI's.

What would you be accountable for?

  • Achieve the annual revenue budget.
  • Reintroduce and reengage lapsed patients back into the clinic to enable us to keep them healthy and smiling.
  • Support ongoing management of prebooking appointments.
  • Manage and maintain a staffing strategy that empowers staff efficiency while ensuring the office is always equipped to best support our patients' needs, and the community.
  • Manage and maintain a dental supply strategy by working with your team and external vendors.
  • Constantly review clinic environment and key business indicators and customer satisfaction to identify problems, concerns, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Leads, coaches and motivates the team to consistently find ways to raise the bar in the clinic by delivering an outstanding patient experience and the best clinical outcomes, engagement, and retention of patients.
  • Manages the team with integrity, honesty, and knowledge to promote the culture, values, and mission of CDS.
  • Constantly on the lookout for great talent to join the team by engaging and building a team through effective hiring, and training.
  • Excels and is comfortable with ongoing performance management, employee relations, and performance reviews.
  • Partnering with the corporate team to develop growth strategies for the clinic.

In terms of qualifications?

  • Not going to lie this is a challenging role, so you will need to have 5 to 10 years of successful experience leading and motivating teams.
  • The dental field is a highly regulated environment, so we are looking for someone with experience managing a multiunit business in the dental field.
  • Bachelor's Degree in business administration or related area, or equivalent experience i.e., a proven leader
