I am a recent graduate from NAIT with a diploma in TV broadcasting with honours. Ive been working in the media indsutry for just over a year now, getting experience with social media, production, digital media and more. I love creating, whether that be filming, video editing or making cool social media content. I love having an idea in my head and then putting it togther and executing it. 

I cant wait to continue working in a forever changing industry and make my mark on it!

Oilers Entertainment Group- Digital Media intern and gameday production

January 2024-present

• Assist social media managers by using Clipro to get clips of action during games. 
• Shoot cinematic shots during the games using Sony FX6 and FX7 cameras with a variety of lenses 
• Assistant edit a variety of content for Oilers+ making basic stringouts, melts, and organizing timelines for the Head editor 
• Participate in shoots for Oilers+ and for in game entertainment helping operate multiple cameras, set up and tear down lights and mics, and observe basic storyboarding processes 
• Upload and organize clips from SD cards onto main Oilers server and name them accordingly 

4Vengeance Media- hockey shooter

September 2023-present

• Film JPHL and CJHL hockey games 
• run both play by play cam and tight follow cam
• keep action within frame so viewers at home can watch the players without missing anything. 
• set up and tear down equipment as needed. 

Edmonton Elks Football club- Social Media assistant 

April 2024-present

• Lead Instagram story capture and posting on gamedays
• Pregame capturing, ensuring all content is available to be posted on all platforms
• Transport SD cards between shooters and uploading station, ensuring timely delivery of game footage.
• Support with the setup and execution of post-game interviews after each game.
• Digital archiving and file organization.
• Video gear and equipment gear maintenance.

West Edmonton Mall Property Inc. - Social Media Representative 

July 2023-Sept 2023 (summer position)

• created designs using canva that fit the wem brand for IG story posts
• Used hootsuite to schedule posts and write creative captions
• took photos using professional camera and phone camera to use for posts 
• edited video clips to make them into Tiktoks/reels 
• pitched ideas for tiktoks/reels that follow current trends 
• respond to dms, comments and messages on accounts and the the WEM livechat website

Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT)- Television broadcasting diploma with honours

Sep 2022-April 2024 

• Practiced various video editing and post production using Adobe creative cloud software
• Learned social media skills creating content for NAIT NewsWatchs pages across multiple platforms and tracking analytics of the posts. 
• Consistently practiced time management, working two part time jobs as well as attending all classes and going out to shoot for stories 
• Learned video production skills including shooting with various cameras and lighting techniques
