I have recent experience managing multiple social media platforms and creating content at my last job. I have also recently finished my Marketing program at Durham College with a 3.34 GPA, and I am looking to jump right into the field to further increase my knowledge and experience. 

I pride myself on my creativity and problem-solving skills which I have developed throughout the years through school and different jobs. I was responsible for creating daily social media posts and content for mortgage brokers providing them with graphics and descriptions they could take and post on their own social media accounts. I created and posted daily engagement posts in multiple groups on Facebook and LinkedIn. I also grew these groups significantly throughout my time there, the Facebook group had been made 4 years before I joined the company and had less than 400 members, in 7 months it is now over 1000 members with more engagement than ever. The LinkedIn group did not exist before I joined and is now at around 700 members and continuing to grow. Growing these groups and engagement generated new leads, consults, and referrals for the company. 

I am certified in Microsoft Office and am heavily skilled in Adobe apps such as Photoshop or Illustrator. I am also skilled in video editing which I have mainly taught myself over many years for my own YouTube channel and used to create micro-content at my previous position. I took clips from the podcast that I ran and edited them to post on all social media such as TikTok, YouTube, Instagram Reels, etc. I also edited the podcast audio and video that went out on every platform available, while writing the description, booking new guests, and promoting it on social media along with email marketing twice every week. I was responsible for booking and building relationships with new guests for the podcast, by engaging with their content consistently I brought in some of the largest influencers in the mortgage industry for the podcast and some even became clients.

 I enjoy the digital aspect of marketing the most as I can really let my creative side flourish. All aspects of Marketing intrigue me though as I love to pinpoint target audiences and find the best way to reach them. My experience with my own social media platforms has given me a fresh perspective on digital marketing and what really gets attraction online.
