I am a biochemist specializing in quality control and the discovery of bioactive natural compounds. Expert in analytical techniques (LC-MS, NMR, IR), molecular biology, aseptic processing and microbiological testing. Proven leader in validation studies, lab operations, and driving continuous improvement in quality systems. I am seeking a dynamic role where I can leverage my technical expertise, drive innovation, and contribute to organizational success while further developing my professional skills in life sciences and medicine to make a meaningful impact.

I began my career as a Lab Technologist in Pakistan, conducting clinical diagnostics and leading the full design and validation of a high-throughput COVID-19 PCR lab. As a Quality Control Analyst at the National Institute of Health, I performed critical testing of vaccines, ensuring strict GMP/GLP compliance.

In Canada, I transitioned into research as a Teaching and Research Assistant at University of Northern British Columbia, where I isolated and structurally elucidated natural product compounds using advanced techniques like IR, LC-MS and NMR. A MITACS internship further honed my skills in discovering bioactive molecules from native mushrooms.

My core strengths include method validation, SOP development, equipment maintenance, and driving quality system improvements. I am seeking a role where I can apply my technical and operational expertise to advance innovation in the life sciences.
 

 I hold a Master of Science (MSc) in Biochemistry from the University of Northern British Columbia (2022–2025), where I conducted research focused on isolating and characterizing pharmaceutically relevant small molecules from natural sources, utilizing advanced analytical techniques including LC-MS, NMR, and FT-IR.
