As a seasoned technical writer with over five years of experience, I have developed a diverse skill set in creating and managing technical documentation, knowledgebases, and training materials. 

My career journey began in customer service and management roles, which provided me with a strong foundation in communication and leadership. I transitioned into technical writing at Hootsuite, where I honed my skills in creating and managing knowledge bases, developing training programs, and crafting UX content. At FISPAN, I further expanded my expertise by implementing new information management systems and creating style guides. 

Throughout my career, I've consistently leveraged various content management systems and technical tools, including Confluence, Jira, WordPress, and Madcap Flare. My technical proficiency extends to HTML, CSS, XML, DITA, and programming languages like Python, JavaScript, and C++. 

I'm committed to continuous learning, as evidenced by my ongoing pursuit of a Computer Science degree and IT Support certification. My diverse background and technical writing expertise enable me to effectively communicate complex information, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and deliver high-quality documentation that meets the needs of various stakeholders.

My educational background is a blend of technical expertise and liberal arts, providing a strong foundation for my career in technical writing. I hold a Technical Writing Certification from Simon Fraser University, completed in 2022, which has been instrumental in honing my skills in this field. 

Currently, I'm furthering my technical knowledge by pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science at the University of the People and an IT Support Certification through Google. These ongoing studies demonstrate my commitment to staying current with technological advancements. 

My earlier education includes Liberal Arts and Sciences studies at both Simon Fraser University and Douglas College, which have contributed to my well-rounded communication skills. 

Additionally, I obtained a CCNA certification from the Cisco Networking Academy in 2003, providing me with a solid understanding of networking principles that has proven valuable throughout my career in tech-related roles.
