About Alan Li:
I've never wanted to be average and have always had goals and ambitions for myself, even when I was a child. Whether it be in my personal life, school or athletics, I always liked to challenge myself and I found it very satisfying when I got the results I set out to achieve. Two major instances in my life prove this to be true:
Among many other awards and achievements in Cross Country and Track & Field athletics in high school, I led our senior boys team to a city championship and I was a provincial champion in track and field as well as the captain of both teams.
Throughout my sales career in the automotive industry, I was recognized time and time again as the top salesperson of the dealership, finished top 3 in the dealership twice in 2018 and 2019, and helped the companies and brands improve their ranking amongst competitors.
My goal is to constantly be challenging, improving and developing myself and my skills to be the kind of person the younger version of myself always wanted to be.
When I'm not working, you can probably find me doing one of the following:
-Trying all different kinds of foods and drinks in Greater Vancouver
-Running, exercising, or lifting weights to try to burn those calories off
-Improving my golf swing
-Spending quality time with my friends and my family who I care about the most
Experience
I have over 4 years of experience in the automotive industry and recently went into real estate for the last 6 months. I have a proven track record for working hard and achieving successful sales outcomes. My focus is on problem solving and client solutions. In my years of experience, I have helped different brands and companies increase profits, exceed quotas and improve their ranking in the industry. I welcome a challenge and always strive to get results in my personal and professional life.
I have experience with sales CRM, technology and software, cold calling, lead generation, lead conversion, follow ups, closing deals, objection handling, customer retention, full cycle sales from greeting to closing the deal and even presenting the client with the product and teaching them how to use it.
Education
I do not have a post secondary degree, however, I have taken roughly 30 credits at Langara College in Business and Economics. I have a high school diploma prior to that.
I believe that my character, mindset and work ethic more than make up for the fact that I don't carry a post secondary degree. This has never prevented me from succeeding at reaching the top of the automotive industry. My drive and willingness to win in life is greater than most and I believe I have the proper mindset to excel in any career and any industry.
