• Maintain outstanding receivables at less than 3% of the total account receivables 
  
   
• Responsible for billing and collections, ensuring timely processing of payments
  
   
• Resolve customer issues regarding outstanding accounts, disputes, concerns, complaints, and billing discrepancies in a timely fashion  
  
   
• Prepare overdue notices and follow up on missing and/or delayed payments
  
   
• Heavy phone activity with customers and handling inbound/outbound calls while developing strong relationships with customers 
  
   
• Negotiation strategies for payment deadlines & payment arrangements to ensure timely collection of payments
  
   
• Conduct mock audits and self-audits, as well as prepare for corporate audits to provide compliance feedback and close the gap on any deficiencies 
  
   
• Advise managers of customers who are unwilling or incapable of paying past due balances and following appropriate requirements when legal action is inevitable
• Manage accounts that are past due by arranging payment plans, monitoring high risk accounts, negotiating payment arrangements, perform collections activities and manage write-offs
