About Alex Marr:
I have a background in music performance, composition, sound design for screen and games, and an immense love of how sound shapes our lived experiences, and supports the storytelling worlds we develop as creatives.
Experience
As a new graduate, most of my work has been on student projects. That said, I have first-hand experience working on film from on-set, to editing and mixing. I've also worked on games both near the end of production polishing final products, and as part of the development process.
Education
I completed my Bachelor of Music in 2021 at Mount Allison University, focusing mostly on percussion performance, and composition. In 2023, I completed obtained my diploma from Vancouver Film School for Sound Design for Visual Media.
