A former Assistant Editor in the publishing industry, I am now trying new avenues of work through seasonal positions while on my 2-year visa in Canada (expiry June 2024). 

Having recently been promoted from Room Attendant to Housekeeping Team Lead at SilverStar Mountain Resort, I am currently seeking similar positions for the summer to continue expanding my skillset, and more importantly: be a part of providing guests with their once in a lifetime experience.

• Housekeeping Team Lead: SilverStar Mountain Resort, Vernon, BC, November-present: Delegating tasks to team members, ensuring each luxury suite or room was spotless, fully stocked and cleaned with precise attention to detail while managing an efficient work flow throughout the day.
• Housekeeping Volunteer: Hostelling International (Work-for-Stay), Lake Louise (AB), September 2022-November 2022: Keeping bathrooms and showers spotless for guests, taking initiatives to ensure the guest space was immaculate, while assisting housekeeping with rotating, folding and organising laundry.
• CV Writer: QA Ltd, London/Remote, January 2022-March 2022: Coordinating sessions with tech industry candidates and writing strong CV profiles to increase the success rate of consultant deployment. Writing and designing workshop documents to streamline the CV building process.
• Editorial Assistant: Hachette Partworks, London: January 2020 - June 2021: Project managing 11 collections. Managing approvals and liaising with licensors, subediting publications for print, designing and commissioning and creatively-directing arts and crafts projects and bookazines, attending focus groups, processing invoices and ad-hoc administrative duties.
• Part-time Cleaner/House-sitter: Sydney, January-July 2018: Deep cleaning of resident homes, weekly tidying, cleaning bedrooms, folding and sorting laundry, dog walking/feeding, general maintenance of homes in the residents' absences.
• Manager: L’urv Sportswear, Sydney, January-July 2018: Supervising a team of six and opening a flagship store, including staff training, merchandising and meeting daily/weekly targets. As a newly established brand, we surpassed our initial target ($1300) by 231% ($3000) on the launch night.
