Academic Planning and Operations
Plan, design and oversee academic department curriculum (preliminary in language studies) in compliance with school’s calendar and academic goals.
Plan, design and oversee implementation of new courses and design of syllabus
Plan strategies for material development and oversee content development for online and classroom training.
Ensure that program is relevant, current and sustainable
Coordinate with the team of material developers and oversee and review content development, learning outcome and learners’ progress
Recruitment, Training and Coaching
Design and implement overall recruitment strategies for intake of new educators and academic staff
Conduct selection interviews, collaborate with team of recruitment and assist in recruitment decision makings
Train and mentor new members, coach new teachers and trainers and facilitate effective onboarding and induction
Design, plan and conduct workshops to increase teacher/staff empowerment, engagement and professional development
Supervision and Academic Excellence
Design and implement observation strategies
Conduct regular staff meetings to optimize academic quality, methodology and current pedagogy
Conduct one-on-one year-round performance appraisals, providing feedback and solutions for academic excellence
Ensure constant collaboration with teams and cross-functional team members to achieve learner engagement, learning satisfaction and academic development
Organizational Management
Anticipate infrastructural required changes, lead and implement ADKAR change strategies
Implement new missions and projects working closely with institutional administrators and R&D and other stakeholders
Shape working teams, delegate and assign tasks and manage projects
Attend quarterly stakeholder meetings and provide departmental performance reports
Leadership
Provide leadership and support in the direction of overall achievement of goals
Create collaborative and participatory leadership strategies to achieve job satisfaction and engagement of team members to work in a positive inclusive and dynamic working climate
Create enthusiasm and dedication to optimize member involvement, jobs satisfaction and to minimize organizational conflicts
Financial Management
Assist financial department on development of operational cost estimations or strategic changes
Assist financial department in feasibility studies for new programs
Assist and support launching process of new programs and initiatives
