Amelia Brown

I am a 16-year-old looking for a job position to help expand my knowledge in customer service. I am extremely personable and willing to make any job work. My key attribute is my charisma. I flourish in customer service; Meaning, creating a welcoming environment, greeting customers, etc. My hope is to gain experience in the work field. 

I have experience in outdoor landscaping, as well as photography. Starting at a young age my father and mother taught me the value of hard work. I started doing small chores like edging the garden plots for $20 and eventually grew the strength and maturity to do more labor-intensive tasks; These include using the riding mower to mow large spans of lawns, trimming trees, hauling branches/logs and creating garden beds with annual flowers and grasses. I have also helped assist my mother in her professional photography business. Which include greeting clients, posing, and setting up lighting equipment. 

I also have some volunteer experience at St Michael's Health Group, a facility for assisted care living. I worked alongside Meagan Chapman in her Art Group. I found not only the seniors I was working with benefited from the conversations we shared. I too, was delighted at the idea of having conversations and doing activities with the participants. 

I am currently a grade 12 student at Austin O Brein High School. Aspiring to get my Bachelor's in Health Sciences at the University of Alberta.
