Amir H H. Sadaghiani

I am a seasoned e-commerce and marketing professional with a robust background in Amazon and digital operations, I bring a wealth of experience and proven success in scaling businesses. My career highlights include transforming e-businesses from a few thousand dollars to mid 7-figure sales within two and half years and achieving top rankings in highly competitive categories on Amazon US and Canada, and Walmart. I have a strong foundation in management and business transaction consulting, backed by over a decade of experience across various mandates and industries. Additionally, my entrepreneurial spirit is demonstrated by founding and successfully scaling a digital agency that I eventually sold to a media company.

I began my career in web solutions by founding Parspake Digital Solutions, which grew into a major player in web development and digital marketing. We provided a one-stop-shop solution for companies looking to establish an online presence and actively market their products and services. I was involved in all facets of production, including web development, SEO, SEM, project management, and product photography, all aimed at optimizing customer experience and driving growth.

Later, I shifted to a field closer to my academic background by joining ABIC Group, an investment and business transaction consulting company, where I rose to the position of director. I was involved in a broad range of mandates, including Go-To-Market studies and execution planning, buy-side advisory through company acquisition, and business planning for startups and special business units within existing companies. My focus was primarily on market research, restructuring planning, and market development strategy.

In 2018, I moved back to Canada and, due to my deep interest in the tech field, decided to shift my career back to tech and eCommerce. I joined Crown Cookware at a time when the company was making a few thousand dollars a month online. I devised a comprehensive eCommerce plan and strategy targeting both DTC and B2B segments. This included establishing a presence on various sales channels such as major marketplaces like Amazon (US & CA), Walmart, eBay, and Wayfair, as well as other platforms like The Bay, the company’s DTC storefront, and B2B portal. I managed and implemented the full scope of work in-house, except for certain advanced web development and graphic design tasks. My work included product photography, keyword research and SEO, copywriting, A/B testing and conversion optimization, managing customer feedback, and product listing optimization, feasibility study and costing, PPC management for Amazon and other platforms, email marketing, and automating eCommerce processes.

Since 2021, I have primarily worked as an eCommerce consultant, which has given me the opportunity to explore various verticals and tackle diverse eCommerce business cases. This experience has broadened my knowledge of the field, extending to supply chain management, logistics, and fulfillment.

eCommerce marketplace management remains my greatest passion. It allows me to take the driving seat in all aspects of online sales and marketing, including managing consumer behavior and eCommerce psychology, merchandising and sales promotions, SEO and building exposure, and utilizing an extensive range of marketing tools and platforms to engage with the audience and promote brands and products.

I have a B.A. in Economics from the University of Toronto, followed by a graduate degree from the Canadian Institute of Marketing at the same institution. I have completed numerous e-commerce and business-related diplomas and courses over the years, some of which are listed in my resume.
