I'm currently working in London for a third company, providing Medical service for Private Hospitals that involves a variety of works to be accomplished and satisfy the client. 

I'm looking to relocate and move to Canada with my family. 

My role includes:

  • Undertaking the lead of a team which involves 2 more sites and a field service Engineer.
  • Primary, secondary and tertiary fault finding of issues, providing accurate reports and making appropriate recommendations.
  • Contract lead and EBME manager.
  • In charge of repairing and maintaining a wide range of medical devices that are used in operating Theatres, Recovery units, Critical Care units and other specialist (Anesthetic machines and Ventilators) and general wards within the Hospital. 
  • Responsible for safe use of test equipment during repair and servicing of equipment.
  • Communicate with end users to understand the nature of the problem and to consider the seriousness and implication of the problem to enable me to respond appropriately to the urgency of the user.

I work currently in St. John’s and St. Elizabeth Hospital that involves undertaking the lead of a team which involves 2 more sites and a field service Engineer. My role includes:

  • Managing daily workload of repairs, acceptance tests, keeping accurate records of all work and keeping accurate paper and electronic records.

  • Making sure the repair of equipment is kept to a minimum.
  • Managing stock and making sure that appropriate spare parts are available when needed.
  • To keep accurate record of equipment sent off to manufacturer for repair.
