About Ana Hernandez:

Web Developer graduate (AEC in Web Programming Technologies) with strong hands-on experience building full-stack web applications using JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, Express, React, Java, Spring Boot, and .NET (C#). I have developed and deployed complete solutions including REST APIs, database design (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server), authentication, and payment integrations (PayPal), while applying best practices such as unit testing (Mocha/Chai) and Agile project workflows.

 

During my internship as a Back-End Developer at Interac Health Pro, I contributed to real-world web services and gained experience working in professional environments with modern development tools. I also bring strong project coordination experience from my role as a Project Manager, along with excellent communication and organization skills.

 

Trilingual (French, English, Spanish) and highly adaptable, I’m motivated by continuous learning and enjoy building clean, efficient, user-focused applications in collaborative team environments.

Experience

Experience in web development through an internship as a Back-End Developer at Interac Health Pro, contributing to the development of web services and full-stack applications using technologies such as Node.js, Express, PostgreSQL, React, and unit testing tools (Mocha/Chai). Additional professional background includes project management experience at Vizion Inc., supporting planning, organization, and delivery of projects. Strong client-service foundation from roles at Air Transat and Banque Nationale, including performance-focused work and the creation of reporting tools using Excel, demonstrating strong analytical and communication skills.

Education

Graduate of an AEC in Web Programming Technologies from Cégep Gérald-Godin, with training in full-stack development including JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, C#, PHP, SQL, React, Spring Boot, ASP.NET Core, and database management. 

Completed a Multidisciplinary Management Microprogram at Université de Montréal / HEC Montréal, strengthening skills in leadership, organization, and business management to complement a technical development profile.
