I am part of the Canadian Immigration team, both the temporary team and permanent team. The temporary immigration team is responsible for the intra-company transfer, reciprocal employment, FTA professional transfer, and LMIA cases. The permanent team is responsible for Permanent Resident (PR)cases, including PR applications and provincial applications. I draft monthly approximately 41 cases, around 118 hours of work, drafting about 170 Canadian immigration forms, 21 employer compliance applications on the IRCC website, 10 PR applications, and 66 letters including employers' support letters. During my time in this role, I have never had a quality concern, and I perform my duties with diligence and responsibility.
My current job duties include:
•Assisting with obtaining legal documents and preparing applications. Drafting legal documents such as immigration forms, submission letters, and support letters;
•Electronic filing of documents with government agencies;
•Analyzing documents to assemble client-provided information, including data entry, and organizing soft copy documents electronically;
•Initiating and creating client records in a database or online tools;
•Managing client documents, and following up with clients;
•Supporting teams with administrative functions such as generating reports and scanning additional documents; and
•Conducting all work with established time standards and standard operating procedures, as well as monitoring e-mails and addresses in a timely fashion.
