Ana Vahčič

Front End Developer with 6+ years in chemical, consulting and environmental industries. I love bringing people’s ideas to life by building accessible and responsive websites. When I’m not coding, I like to be outdoors, teaching scuba diving, traveling, hiking, volunteering and cooking plant-based dishes.

I have more than 6 years experience of working in multicultural teams, and experience in working with team members across multiple time zones (EST, MT, PST, GMT). I also worked in an agile team environment, and I am skilled at working with stakeholders and various team members when developing solutions.

Juno is a Private Career College located in downtown Toronto that runs 12-week full-time bootcamps to train web developers on the most up-to-date skills, including HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, JavaScript, APIs, React and Firebase. My passion as a developer is bringing people’s ideas to life by building user friendly, fun and beautiful websites. I am a recent graduate of Juno College of Technology’s Web Development Bootcamp, and I have experience creating applications that are responsive and accessible. My current tech stack includes HTML5, CSS3/SCSS/Sass, JavaScript, React, RESTful APIs as well as Git. I have experience working within agile environments including Scrum/Kanban and project management softwares such as Jira and Trello. During bootcamp I had the opportunity to create my own projects, collaborate in pair programming and in group projects.
