About Anita Weiss:

My true passion in business is to provide support service. That has shown up as my roles as an Office Administrator or as a Life Coach in my own company. I have a talent for outstanding customer service and sales. Understanding human behaviour and the psychology of sales has enabled me to know what the client is looking for as well as the directive of the company so that both can achieve the optimum outcome. I have a love of learning and look for ways to continue to gain knowledge and improve my skill set. My natural outgoing personality coupled with a mature and grounded sensibility enables clients to feel seen and understood. I'm always complimented on this by customers, clients and staff. I have been consulted as an experienced coach for a book publication, an international podcast guest and was the first featured expert for the Grimsby Chamber of Commerce's web series, Ask an Expert as well as a featured coach in an editorial for BuzzBuzz Media, a real-estate business on-line publication. I was recently recruited to facilitate several Implementation Mastery sessions with worldwide participants.

Experience

In my current role of Office Administrator at BluePoint Valuations it is my responsibility to open\create files for new clients and input the financial information into income statements and balance sheets and any other relevant information required by the accountants. I also create timeline documents to be included in the valuation of IRB’s or Business Valuation reports. 

While working at Hatch as a Human Resource Administrator it was my responsibility to input employee information into SAP. I looked after many departments and input maternity leaves, short and long term disability absences and termination information into our system. I also preformed administrative duties such as upkeep of employee records, general inquiries and request from staff, maintaining large amounts of confidential filing, payroll, scanning and photocopying. It was required of me to prepare reports with various parameters as needed by our Human Resource Advisors. 

In my position as Front Desk Administrator at Re/Max it was my responsibility to manage staff from 3 separate offices as well as create the schedules for this staff. I was the main liaison for the real estate agents, staff and lawyers for all deals concerning our offices. Being in charge of the running of the office which included all building and machines maintenance, supplies and cleaning were all part of my responsibilities. Additionally, I was in charge of ensuring the renewal of the licenses of the realtors. 

During my time working for Chiropractors and Naturopath doctors at Phenom High Performance Medicine clinic I have had to be the key ambassador to handle customer inquiries promptly and professionally. Collection of payment and the end of the day cash balancing has always been a requirement for all of these positions. At times, it was necessary to collect money due from past treatment from both patients and insurance companies. I am very comfortable in performing that duty.

I have over 20 years’ experience in administrative support and outstanding customer service for both internal and external associates all while maintaining a high level of diplomacy and discretion. The varied positions I have held have all required the same skills such as the ability to prioritize and redefine priorities when necessary, dependability, a thorough knowledge of MS Office, effective communication both verbal and written, learning new information quickly and being a positive and productive team player.

Education

I have a law certificate from Toronto Metropolitan University (formally Ryerson), a publishing diploma from Centennial College and have taken several other on-going courses related to earning my life coaching certification such as; Life Coach diploma, Neuro Linguistic Programming Practitioner, Modern Applied Psychology diploma, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy certificate and Employee Engagement certificate.
