• Main duties and tasks: 
• Measured, cut and installed piping (Cast iron, copper, PVC, CPVC, PEX)
• Manage own crew in designated tasks ranging from inventory management, rough-ins, clean-up.
• Solder copper piping.
• Material handling.
• Maintaining a clean and safe workspace.
• Install cast iron rough-ins.
• Cooperate and work with other trades crews (Drywallers, electricians, sprinkler fitters) constantly.

Construction Contractor / Helper

• Main Duties and tasks:
• Measured, cut, and screwed drywall for houses and garages.
• Replaced old roofs with new plywood and shingles.
• Removed tiling and flooring and installed new laminate flooring.
• Cleaned and swept workspaces and maintained equipment before and after the workday.

• Unloaded trucks and distributed to the correct locations throughout the store..
• Stocked inventory.
• Customer assistance - Assisted customers with anything they needed whether it be locations of specific items, checking backroom for out of stock inventory on the floor, assistance with specific items, or just carrying heavy items out of the store for them.
• Organized inventory in the backroom - made sure stock was neatly organized and logged correctly.
• Unloaded items and stocked to correct locations within time allocated.

Learning the basics of the trades by experienced multi-ticketed veterans. Such as, what to expect, how the job site works, hands on experience with threading, measuring pipes from diagrams, fitting allowances, learning different types (Cast Iron, PVC, Copper, DWV, all from the plumbers handbook). Also included soldering copper pipe, bending of copper pipe, wrenching, gluing with cement types, taping, doping pipe and taping with teflon tape. Stick welding experience daily for two months, practicing flat and horizontal welding mainly but not experienced enough for CWB ticket.
