I have a strong foundation in radiation safety through my work at ALARA Consultants, where I assist with CNSC licensing, conduct NORM surveys, and deliver safety training to clients. My experience includes regulatory compliance, internal audits, radioactive material handling, and supporting radiation protection programs across various industries. I’m committed to maintaining high safety standards and ensuring adherence to all regulatory requirements.

I am a radiation safety professional with hands-on experience in regulatory compliance, field assessments, and training delivery. At ALARA Consultants, I have supported CNSC licensing processes, acted as an assistant RSO, conducted NORM surveys, and provided technical training to a range of clients. My work emphasizes safety, precision, and adherence to federal regulations governing the use and transport of radioactive materials. With a background in biomedical sciences and strong communication skills in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, I bring both technical expertise and cross-cultural competence to every project I undertake.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences with a specialization in Food Science from Brigham Young University–Idaho, where I also served as a tutor and an active member of the Pre-Dental Student Union. My academic foundation is complemented by a robust set of industry certifications, including Radiation Safety Officer (RSO), Class 7 TDG for radioactive materials, NORM Safety, WHMIS, H2S Alive, Common Safety Orientation, and First Aid with CPR/AED Level C. Together, my education and certifications equip me with the technical knowledge and regulatory compliance skills essential for maintaining high safety standards in radiation protection and hazardous materials management.
