With 25 years of experience in IT, I have specialized in selling and implementing enterprise ERP systems for manufacturers, helping businesses optimize operations and improve efficiency. Throughout my career, I have developed strong people skills, problem-solving abilities, and a talent for simplifying complex concepts for diverse audiences.

I hold a BA in Philosophy and have completed BMS training, along with other specialized training relevant to both IT and education. Leveraging this expertise, I have transitioned my skills to the education sector, focusing on enhancing the learning experience for students from junior kindergarten to elementary grades. I have worked closely with children, including those with learning disabilities and ASD, fostering inclusive environments that support their growth and development. By combining my technical background with my passion for education, I strive to create meaningful learning experiences that empower students to succeed.

Since 2024, I have worked as an Educational Assistant (EA) with the Halton District School Board, supporting a diverse group of children with varying learning needs. My role involves working closely with students from junior kindergarten to elementary grades, including those with learning disabilities and ASD, to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment. I apply my strong communication and problem-solving skills to assist with individualized education plans, classroom activities, and behavioral support strategies. By fostering a positive and engaging atmosphere, I help students build confidence, develop essential skills, and reach their full potential.

I have completed specialized training in supporting students with medical conditions such as anaphylaxis, asthma, diabetes, and epilepsy. Additionally, I have received certification in St. John Ambulance First Aid, including AED training, as well as Fraud Prevention and Management. My expertise in Behavior Management System (BMS) Training equips me with the skills to create safe and supportive learning environments, ensuring the well-being and success of all students.
