Design and developed an image capturing system for their two Seating Plants. It reads and processes both bar codes and OCR patterns. A VB.NET thin client that communicates with a separate Cognex middleware all triggered by PLC devices. Completed on schedule and within budget and received very positive feedback.

On contract as a senior level C# architect and developer to assist NAIA in their efforts to enhance their clients object model that supports their ERP system. Also responsible for many project management roles and development projections.

Saved SFMC over $200,000 dollars by analyzing and correcting performance problems on their Imports Production Schedule portal. This portal is up and running today. This portal provides over thirty reports designed to facilitate key performance indicators updated in near real time and accessed by their global staff. Senior managers believed a complete redesign was necessary due to the unresponsive nature of the PSL portal. I was successful in identifying numerous coding and database design problems. I was successful in bringing the portal back to a responsive nature with restructuring poorly designed ASP, ASP.NET code and many database issues relating specifically to data access, queries, indexes and clustering.

Collaborating with Directors and Managers in order to technically architect a SSRS solution to first replace their aging Hyperion MIS reporting system. Secondly, architecture a SSRS solution to ensure integration from their on line furniture shopping portal called StarNet.

Installed and configured both SQL Reporting Server 2000 and 2005

Authored all MIS reports and held technology related classroom instructions for SFMCO IT development staff on design and development strategies coupled with best practices.

Governor of Ohio Bob Taft introduced a program early in January 2001 designed to assist low-income families who experienced difficulties meeting utility payments. 

Utilizing Microsoft Visual Modeler 6.0 and UML Methodologies/Notation, I modeled THAW for the Franklin County directors to visualize architecture was immediately approved. The model exhibited a 3-tier approach with a logical encapsulated business layer. Business lay was designed execute numerous verification against the application in order to determine its eligibility.

Client - Cendant Corporation - Technical Lead / Developer/Business Analyst

Lead system architect and developer on a Projected Commission Reporting system (PCA). PCA provides Partnership marketing with a means to automate commission revenue reports generation and replaces a manually intensive process. The automation of this project greatly reduces the effort required to create these reports by automating the commission calculation process. Additional advantages realized in productivity since managers can now perform increased value-added activities due to freed time. The application received over all very positive user acceptance. PCA provides a multiple-document interface (MDI) UI that allows the user to maintain multiple forms within a single container form. PCA has been designed to provide users both with an MDI interface and a robust and user friendly GUI

Phase one of the (PCA) architecture involved using a layer termed, Universal Data Access-based framework. It operated at two levels within the PCA architecture. At the systems level, OLE-DB served as a set of COM-based interfaces that encapsulate various database management system services. The OLE-DB architecture allowed for swift access to the data source. At the application level, ADO provided a high-level interface to enable PCA developers to access data in familiar Visual Basic syntax. ADO, OLE-DB, and ODBC together make up the data access layers implemented in PCA. PCA implement object-oriented approach to data access. Phase one successful deployed.
