I have always found caring for people to be interesting, especially the smile on the faces for a job well done- that is the major reason I chose to venture into nursing as a profession. Having gained the requisite qualifications and skills, I discovered how compassionate and quality nursing care can optimize, sustain life and improve the general well-being of patients. It is with great pleasure and enthusiasm I am applying to work as a Registered Nurse in your healthcare facility.

I am a Registered Nurse who is hardworking, caring, committed, competent, dynamic and analytical, pays attention to details and dependable. A competent nurse who believes strongly in being health and safety conscious, safeguarding my patients and the public through exercising my professional duty of candor and escalating concerns immediately, where appropriate. With patients care needs and safety recognized first and foremost, assessed and responded to timely, I prioritized workload based on patients' care log, treating patients with respect, dignity, kindness, recognizing diversities and human right irrespective of age, race or disability.

I have over 8 years of experience working in both clinical and care home settings.During this time I have been in charge of wards, prioritizing and organizing patients's care, delegating duties to other nurses and helthcare asssitants, interns and non-medical staff. My experience has enable me to sharpen my clinical skills in areas of medicine management, wound management, intravenous cannulation care, catherization and assisting patients to achieve activities of daily living such as feeding, grooming, taking patients for medical appointments and investigations, keeping patients' company and assisting in toileting, trimming of nails, if need be, hair do.

Furthermore, I am cheerful, friendly, fast thinker and fast leaner who is opened to learning new procedures, and standards that would improve the quality of care. Values are basic convictions of what is right, or desirable, which is critical to how I approach my work. I uphold the right to privacy, confidentiality, self-respect truthfulness and dependability highly.
