My experience includes inventory control, records management, budgeting, scheduling, and staff training. I’m highly organized and detail-oriented, with excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset. I’m proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Canva, and various industry software, including SAP, KRONOS, and Simply Accounting. Passionate about community development, led food literacy programming, coordinated volunteers, and built partnerships supporting local families. I am the Colchester Food Network Coordinator at the Colchester Food Bank, where I’ve worked since 2023, leading food literacy programs, coordinating volunteers, and supporting community initiatives. Before that, I worked as a store manager for Northwest Company. I bring over 20 years of experience in administration, customer service, and program coordination across public and non-profit sectors. I hold a diploma in medical secretary from Miss Murphy’s Business College and became a Master in cosmetology at NSCC. My background combines hands-on leadership with a strong understanding of community needs and operations.

I am the Colchester Food Network Coordinator at the Colchester Food Bank (2023–present), leading food literacy programs, volunteer coordination, and community events. From 2021 to 2023, I worked as a store general manager with the Northwest Company, following my role with Nova Scotia Health Authority in 2021 as an immunization clerk and in shipping/receiving. Before that, I owned and operated Degraaf’s Convenience & Robins Donuts from 2009 to 2021 and owned and operated Hair Quest from 2003 to 2017.
