16 years of experience operating a heavy oil plant, SAGD field/plant operating and Utilities plant/Control room operating at a large oil sands mine.

8 years at a heavy oil facility where I commissioned & operated, mentored and trained jr operators, developed, implemented and trained operators in a PM program and trained operators in our safety program.

2 years experience working at a SAGD facility, where I worked in the plant and field and rose to Field Coordinator where my responsibilities included, following procedures, safety program, preparing and installing LOTO’s, mentoring and training jr operators and working with contractors.

6 years working(currently) where I helped commission the Utilities department at a large Oil Sand Mine. I have operated 4 133000kg/hr boilers, 2 frame 7 GTG’s/HRSG  with 100MW and 375000kg/hr each capacity, water treatment plant, various exchangers and pumps. I have been fully trained in the Control room and currently split my time between the control room and operating in the Utilities plant.
