I am an outgoing 29 year old professional with extensive experience in analytical chemistry in a research laboratory with both expertise in academia and managing government contracts. In my roles I have demonstrated project leadership, resource and personnel management, and collaborating on large scale projects with multiple research groups. I have considerable technical expertise in mass spectroscopy, statistical methods, and use of the research literature.   • Acted as lead on multiple projects collaborating with Statistics Canada and utilized GC-FID to analyze tens of thousands of samples from various biological sources to be used in diet recommendation for Canadians
  • Identified novel alterations in DHA metabolism pathway during pregnancy in a Sprague Dawley model
  • Introduced and implemented machine learning techniques to the research group to extract novel insights from UHPLC-MS data  
  • Automated manual data curation using python scripts, saving lab members hours per week
