Danyal Rehman

Hey there!

My name is Danyal Rehman, I am an eager future business leader and a BBA Candidate at the Schulich School of Business. My friends would describe me as an infinitely passionate, empathetic person. I am interested in Finance, Accounting, and Sports Management, and I find that I synthesize excellently on any team due to my background of diverse experiences. Moreover, I enjoy dialogue in matters of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging, and I am a proud ally of Women in Leadership.

 This past summer I worked at a startup called “Explorer Hop” as a Marketing and Outreach intern.  Through my marketing work on various social media platforms, and consistent communication with organizations to sign clients and partners, I was able to hone my social skills, by creating meaningful relationships with my fellow employees and clients, whilst also improving my teamwork skills. Likewise, Since July of 2019, I have been the host of a Podcast called “The Countdown” in an amateur e-Sports league . My experience has helped me develop organization and leadership skills as I am required to record and publish the podcast every week. These responsibilities encouraged me to build networks and develop a comprehensive plan for the content and promotion of the podcast. Having said this, I have that experience collaborating with others, researching and reaching out to people, networking, and have excellent organizational and time management skills, which I believe will make me a valuable asset to the company and a good fit for this role.
