I’m a mining engineer with +25 years in project management, technical services, mining operations experience in Canada and abroad.  Some of my senior level positions have included Project Manager, Manager of Technical Services, Chief Engineer, and Project Engineer.

Recently, I’ve been providing project management and engineering services.  This has included (Trevali Mining), 

• Business Improvement strategies including 
  • Evaluation of sill pillar mining recovery including design, schedule, OPEX, geotechnical evaluation
  • Design and project management of a mine ventilation upgrade(Trevali Mining)
  • Stope to mill ore grade control
  • Review of Life-of-Mine scheduling and improvement initiatives
  • Evaluation of short-term production opportunities to compensate for shortfalls in the fiscal metal production
• Oversight of the design and construction of underground infrastructure (Vale)
  • Vent system design and construction
  • Dewatering system upgraded and construction management
  • Ore system refurbishment project engineering and construction management
• Project development management for the development of a brownfields open pit operation (Conuma Resources)

I have strong experience and abilities in project scheduling (MS Project), business improvement, mining project management, feasibility study /CAPEX / OPEX cost evaluations, technical services and mining operations.
