David Soliman

I have over eight years of experience working in medical and laboratory settings and have been 
working as a clinical embryologist for nearly four years. I hold a master’s degree in reproductive 
clinical science from the world-renowned Jones Institute for Reproductive Medicine and an 
Honors Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto. Additionally, I am a member of the 
Canadian Fertility and Andrology Society and the American Society for Reproductive Medicine 
in good standing, having gained certifications in clinical embryology from both.

Work and Research Experience
2019-Present Senior Embryologist Newlife Fertility Centre Mississauga, ON, CA
● Senior embryologist fully trained to perform all clinical duties independently, including 
but not limited to:
○ Oocyte retrievals and denudation
○ ICSI and conventional oocyte insemination for IVF
○ Preparation of semen for IVF as well as semen analysis and cryopreservation
○ Blastocyst biopsy for preimplantation genetic testing (PGT)
○ Embryo vitrification and warming, as well as embryo and gamete assessment
○ Embryo transfer and culture media preparation
● Laboratory duties include but are not limited to:
○ Performing daily quality control of laboratory equipment and environmental 
monitoring
○ Collecting data for key performance indicators for review by the laboratory 
director
○ Maintenance and daily cleaning of laboratory equipment and workstations and 
monitoring of laboratory inventory
● Assumed various clerical duties, including patient chart preparation, updating IVF cycle 
reports, and maintaining ongoing correspondence with patients and physicians, which 
established a clear line of communication between personnel, optimizing workplace 
efficiency
