About Dawn Chan:

I am a contributing critic at the New York Times as well as a frequent contributor to Artforum, where I worked as an editor from 2007 to 2018. You can also find my journalism and essays in the Atlantic.com, Bookforum, the NewYorker.com, New York Magazine, the Paris Review, and the Village Voice, among other publications. 

Currently faculty at CCS Bard, I  have lectured  at RISD, MICA, and NYU and the Guggenheim Museum. I am the recipient of a Thoma Foundation art writing award in digital art and a Warhol Arts Writers Grant.
