I had the opportunity to stay home with my kids for years. After running a successful house cleaning business, to accommodate their school hours, I am enjoying being back in the workforce as an insurance broker. I would excited to keep growing and educating in the insurance world. 

2022 - Current             Insurance Broker- The Ostic Group

• I started working for a small insurance brokerage in July 2022, and have been with The Ostic Group since August of 2024
• I gained insurance experience being in the office, before successfully passing my RIBO exam in December 2022
• I have been focusing on personal lines insurance. Familiarizing myself with all aspects of home and auto insurance
• Answering the phones to help clients with all their home and auto insurance needs, new applications, endorsements, and all that is involved with meeting their needs. 

2014 - 2022                 Scrub Naturally Residential House Cleaning               

• I ran my own successful house cleaning business in the Centre Wellington area
• My responsibilities included, but were not limited to, completely cleaning all kitchens, bathrooms, dusting all areas, including baseboards and light fixtures, vacuuming and mopping all floors, windows and doors when requested, leaving the house in impeccable shape for the home owner
• Purchasing of all cleaning products as well as having supplies prepared for each day as I bring my own products
• All paperwork including invoices, receipts, and income tax preparation
• As well as cleaning to a high standard, many of my clients are home while I clean, so I have the responsibility to remain professional, keep their lives confidential and develop relationships with them while I am there

2001-2013                   Home Maker

• I had the privilege of raising our 3 children while they were growing up until they were able to be at home alone for periods of time
• My responsibilities included the daily responsibilities of raising children, as well as keeping house
• I also took care of our family’s budgeting, paperwork and filing

I graduated from high school. More recently passed the RIBO exam and working towards my CIP designation.
