Dylan is an technology and business leadership professional with a Master’s in Electrical Engineering with expertise in business development, sales strategy, business strategy, building / mentoring / coaching strong teams, financial analysis, account management, RF, wireless and mobile telecom, test instrumentation, and engineering product development.

• As Director of Business Development for 4 years at MistyWest, a local Vancouver SME, grew MistyWest by 500% from 4 to 25 people in just 4 years, with 60-70% of business coming from the United States
• While at MistyWest, coached numerous client SMEs through the full commercialization cycle, including iterative prototyping, certification, intellectual property management and strategy, developing supplier relationships, sales & marketing, etc
• While Director of Industry Innovation for Foresight Cleantech Accelerator, drove programs that connected big industry to SMEs with novel solutions
• Experienced in leading projects commercializing solutions for medical devices, digital health, and health informatics, including going through clinical trials and regulatory approvals for certification, with examples to share
• Very familiar with IRAP’s mandate, having assisted SMEs through IRAP funding applications
• Helping small, innovative Canadian SMEs drive the development of great Canadian technology has been a personal mission of mine for some time
