About Elana Cincinatus:

I’m Elana Cincinatus, a video game artist from Toronto, and a graduate of Sheridan College's Bachelor of Game Design program from the inaugural class. I've been working professionally as a video game artist since 2017. I eagerly look forward to future creative opportunities, doing what I love.

  • Ludare Games Group                                             March 2022 – October 2022
    2D Animator
    • Primary role was to animate characters, background, and effects for the game. Oversaw setting up character rigs using Photoshop and Spine2D, creating prefabs for background and effect animations in Unity and occasionally making small assets for character attacks and effects.

 

  • HitGrab Games Labs                                                July 2020 – December 2021

  • HitGrab Games is an Indie game design studio located in Toronto and is best known for their Mouse Hunt games and most recently Clan O’Conall: The Crown of the Stag.
  • Primarily worked on an educational app designed to help teach English to Korean, Japanese and Chinese players in a fun and interactive way. Primary role was to animate characters, UI and effects for this app. Also ‘on call’ for other projects underway at the studio including animating some effects and characters for the Clan O’Conall game and character animation for a chess game still in development.

    Lead Game Artist
    • Maple Powered Games, formerly known as Great Lake Games, is a small Indie gaming company of 5, located in Sarnia, Ontario. Worked as lead artist on Monster Harvest, a pixel post-apocalyptic farming adventure game. Established overall look of the game environment and created most assets; characters, buildings, environment, objects and 2D pixel animations.
