Elisha Eley

2022 Carleton University graduate with a bachelors diploma specializing in law and human rights. I have worked in both administrative positions and in the hospitality business, and I have 10 years of experience within the restaurant industry.  I possess strong oral and written communication skills, I am a quick learner and have exceptional organizational skills. I am able to work both on a team and as a individual, utilizing my social and problem solving skills to ensure my job is done to the best of my ability.

As head server, bartender and manager, I have been responsible for finding and hiring new employees and maintaining the overall daily success of the establishment. I continuously sought to provide our customer base with a positive and memorable experience that lived up to brand standards. My efforts were continuously geared towards safeguarding the profitability of the establishment. Responsible for employee scheduling, assisting customers with their reservations, and inventory management. When behind the bar/serving customers being quick and paying high attention to detail is crucial, which has provided me with exceptional communication and social skills.

I graduated from Carleton University in December 2022 with a B.A in Law & Human Rights, and I am actively looking to expand my experience and knowledge. I am a highly motivated individual with a strong passion for law. I am working hard towards one day attaining a top-level position in a reputable law firm. My employment experience and my extensive/ demanding post- secondary journey have equipped me with the abilities to succeed within my career.
