Emily Earl

Hello,

My name is Emily and I am a Bachelor of Science graduate from Thompson Rivers University. I am particularly interested in childcare and development and hope to further my education to find a career in paediatric healthcare. My studies have allowed me to find employment in childcare and office administration.

I have found employment in office administration and childcare work. I have four years of experience in office administration and have held positions at companies such as La Dolcevita Spa & Salon, Salty Fig Catering, and the TNRD's EMBC Resiliency Centre. My main responsibilities consisted of greeting and assisting clients by scheduling appointments and answering phone lines, maintaining supplies inventory, and managing transactions and processing financial reports. In my spare time, I have also worked as a part time nanny for six years for two boys currently aged nine and seven. I am responsible for ensuring the children are bathed, fed, and asleep prior to the parent's return, assisting with homework, and organizing educational and stimulating activities.

I graduated from Thompson Rivers University in 2023 with a Bachelor of Science Degree. I majored in general biology and was a Dean's list student. In addition to my science curriculum, I also took management courses to further expand my office administration knowledge.
