About Emma MacGregor-Mitchell:

Passionate about unravelling the intersections of global political economy, internet aesthetics, youth identity, and consumption. Currently pursuing a Master's in Cultural Studies to delve deeper into these realms through the lenses of (social) media/cultural studies theory, and curation.

Excited to bring my diverse background, academic insights, and practical skills to contribute to the world of museum and/or gallery curation. Eager to explore innovative ways of curating exhibitions that resonate with contemporary themes and societal shifts, or lend a helping hand in exhibition planning and logistics.

Experience

My current career interest is in curation, and I'm currently an Assistant Curator at Murney Tower in Kingston, ON. I've worked many positions for AIESEC Canada, including being the president of the Queen's University chapter. I have a background in education, having been both a private and company-hired French tutor. I also have lots of customer service experience, having worked in the service industry for Tim Hortons, Walmart and Staples.
