Eric Chun Kit Kam

I am an enthusiastic, responsible, and empathetic registered social worker (Hong Kong) with two years of experience in critical high-risk situations. I enjoy utilizing various therapy skills such as active listening, satir model and strengths based approach. Believing every person is unique and has potential. My passion is to walk alongside people in their low moments and listen to their experience.

Provided crisis intervention, suicide prevention support and one-off counseling services to over 900 callers who are experiencing an emotional crisis. C-SSRS risk assessment was conducted. 

Utilized social resources to provide referral assistance to over 500 callers suffering from mental health issues, family conflicts, suicidal ideation and domestic violence. 

Collaborated with different agency staff including: police officers, nurses and school social workers to ensure that each individual has a strong supporting network. For particularly highrisk cases, I consulted my supervisor for professional knowledge and support.

 Organized and conducted group work, case work and talks for children to educate on topics like emotions, interpersonal conflicts and stress management. Applied a story-telling approach for relationship building and maintain a long-term relationship. ● Utilized Satir model, solution focused approach and CBT to conduct and analyze the need assessment to plan counselling goals.
