Experience

With a career spanning over three decades, I have been dedicated to making a positive impact in Atlantic Canada and particularly in the Canadian North. I have actively contributed to corporate and government landscapes, demonstrating proficiency in strategic business development, entrepreneurship, economic development, strategic planning, government relations, policy research, policy development, communication, and program design and delivery.

As a former Director of Policy and Strategic Planning at the Nunavut Housing Corporation, I worked closely with Indigenous, Aboriginal, and First Nation communities, contributing to the development of legislation and policies that addressed their unique needs.

In my previous role as the Manager of Business and Strategic Development for the Government of Nunavut, I led initiatives that involved collaboration with Indigenous representatives, gaining valuable insights into the Canadian North's diverse cultural and economic aspects.

Beyond my contributions to the North, my commitment to diversity and inclusivity extends to working effectively with francophone and anglophone communities across Canada. Whether as a litigation lawyer, business development consultant strategist, or entrepreneur for over 18 years, I have honed the skills necessary to navigate and build bridges between different linguistic and cultural backgrounds.
