Currently studying Neuroscience & Mental Health, B.Sci Honours at Carleton University. 

Volunteering in the Abizaid Lab at Carleton University, studying the levels of secretion of α-MSH in relation to gestational diabetes in mice, using immunohistochemistry laboratory techniques. 

Pursuing research positions within the neuroscience field. Experience & knowledge in the study of neuroanatomical structure & function, hormonal systems of the brain, and neurological disease pathology.

Proficient in English and Spanish speaking and writing, DELE A2 certified.

Working with the Occupational Health Clinics for Ontario Workers as part of the large cluster investigations team to help in research into occupational-related health disorders and diseases. 

Previous retail and teaching experience outside the realm of sciences.

Currently undertaking my Bachelor's of Science in Neuroscience & Mental Health, Honours. Working in the Abizaid Lab within the Neuroscience research department, using general laboratory techniques and immunohistochemistry  combined with neuroanatomical and neurotransmitter/hormonal knowledge to study secretion levels of specific hormones and behavioural outcomes.
